Fearless and Andania at Carlisle with 37s, 40, 50, 88 and 90s 22 08 26

Saturday 22 August at Carlisle. The SRPS Thistle and Dragon railtour stopped at Carlisle en route from Kirkaldy to Chester and Llandudno and on its return north. D400 Fearless hauled the southbound train with D213 Andania returning it to Scotland. The was a glitch with the sound on my recording of the arrival of Fearless - my apologies.

There was a ten hour gap between the south and north trains during which I recorded passenger and freight trains, Plenty of Class 90s as usual on a Saturday these days. We had the bonus of a pair of Colas 37s heading from Derby to Carlisle Yard in the early evening.
