Description
Brocklesby Junction in Lincolnshire is a great place to see some heavy freight trains running to and from Immingham Docks. Here are some of the heavies filmed in a 90 minute period on Wednesday 26th August 2026.

00:00 DB class 66 66026 brings the 6K43 iron ore empties back from Scunthorpe Foreign Ore terminal.

02:36 Still in EWS livery (how long ago did they cease to exist?), 66121 powers the 6T25 loaded ore train as it heads for Scunthorpe.

03:44 66021 brings the Drax empties back to Immingham on the 4R51 service.

05:48 66199 with a full Biomass load is brought to a halt at the signal protecting the junction to allow a TransPennine service to run through. at 06:31 the driver can be seem clambering down from the buffer beam, I assume he was doing a window cleaning job. Once the passenger train has passed the Biomass train gets the right of way.

09:35 A coal train! 66054 drags the 6C78 Immingham to Scunthorpe Anchor sidings across the junction. Whilst that is running through, 66092 runs in the opposite direction on the 6E54 oil empties from Kingsbury oil sidings.
