Dorridge Delivers! | GBRf, Freightliner & Chiltern Explorer Test Run + A CAT Catches ITS PREY! |

🚂 Lots of Railway Action at Dorridge!

Join me for a morning of railway action at Dorridge railway station, one of my favourite locations for watching trains on the Chiltern Main Line.

With a flurry of freight trains due and a Chiltern Explorer test run expected, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to return to Dorridge — especially as it had been quite some time since my last visit.

Over the course of around an hour or two, I managed to capture a great mix of GB Railfreight (GBRf) and Freightliner freight workings, alongside the regular passenger services passing through the station. 🚆

📍 About Dorridge Railway Station

Dorridge station is located in Warwickshire, on the Chiltern Main Line between Birmingham and London. The station serves the village of Dorridge and the surrounding Solihull area, with regular services operated by Chiltern Railways. Its location also makes it an interesting spot for railway enthusiasts, with both passenger and freight traffic using the route.

There was plenty to keep an eye out for during this visit, and with the variety of workings that appeared, it certainly proved to be a worthwhile return!

I’ll definitely be visiting Dorridge again in the future. 👍
