It ran via Birmingham New St via the Camp Hill avoiding line and the little used Lifford West Junction spur, so I managed to see it twice...heading into Birmingham New St through Selly Oak (interestingly heading North at this point..) and then as it left the West Midlands at Barnt Green
This was running under headcode 1Z57 with locos 57009 'GJ Churchward' and 57315
A bit of a close call with a 170 unit at Barnt Green, but just about got away with it...!
