47804 Hauls 46115 Scots Guardsman Through Bamfurlong! | 16th September 2026
The class 47 was dragging steam locomotive LMS Royal Scot Class 46115 Scots Guardsman working a light engine movement from Carnforth to Kidderminster for a spell to work trains at the fabulous Seven Valley Railway. The engine currently carries a British Railways (BR) Brunswick Green livery with a late crest.
The train was running 27 minutes early here having not used the unusual pathing stop at Wigan.
I have linked another shot from a few years ago at Bryn of this engine.
