Description
For a short while around 2017/8, class 90 electric locomotives made some regular appearances on the East Coast Main Line. They were mainly to help out with a shortage of class 91 locomotives, but one is also seen replacing a class 92 on the Caledonian Sleeper. Although with a lower top speed than the 91's (110mph v 125mph), their better acceleration helped with timekeeping.
