The 2K67 passenger service running from Blackburn to Headbolt Lane (Merseyside) was operated by Northern class 156 Diesel Multiple Unit number 156462.

The 6E73 empty freight train service running from Shap Summit Quarry to Doncaster Up Decoy was operated by Direct Railway Service class 66 Diesel Locomotive number 66430.
