Welcome, to the Megawatt Valley Venture Railtour.
This video starts at Lincoln Central, showing the short journey to Nottingham as we connect with the Hastings Diesels service for High Marnham Test Track.

Sections from our journey onboard the Thumper include: Sleights East Level Crossing through to Shirebrook Junction to collect a section of the Robin Hood Line to save coming back later.

We were delayed into and out of High Marnham due to route proving exercises due to line inactivity. This explains several of our stop/start movements after Shirebrook. We were also responsible for the Annetts Key line token in order to operate several signalling ground frames. This caused a 15 minute delay to our service, in turn removing a leg stretch stop on return that had already been amended. We were due to this break at Mansfield Town, before revision to Ilkeston.

Instead, trouble on the tracks gave us the break at Toton instead, but in a more restrictive form as you obviously cannot alight in a freight yard.
