37s and More around Carlisle 18 September 2026

Friday 18th September at Carlisle and north on the West Coast Main Line, primarily out to record an LSL 37 heading from Upperby depot to Bo'ness. Despite my being on time for its schedule passing at Mossband, it ran an hour late! Still got to record various trains there and at Springfield. The light wasn't fantastic for mid September and it was very windy. Then south to the Citadel station in Carlisle, where I found a pair of Class 37s parked in the holding sidings on a test train. Another class 37 was scheduled to pass through, but it got cancelled!
