Are the Stadler class 68 diesel locomotives with Mark 5 coaches a success of failure? A couple of years apart we see them at work and testing with TransPennine where they did testing for a long while on the Cleethorpes to Liverpool route but didn't carry passengers.

I suppose to make a choice I will need to travel on one of the sets to find out how good they are, but they make a nice change from multiple unit passenger trains.
