Description
Two fantastic days of filming at The North Yorkshire Moors Railway Annual Steam Gala on September 24th & 26th 2026.
This was my first time attending a Steam Gala, and I was not disappointed in the slightest, with there being so much going on and lots of different locomotives to pick from.
This years Steam Gala saw three special visitors which included 60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’, T3 No. 563 from Swanage & GWR 4079 ‘Pendennis Castle’ from Didcot, all operating alongside the home fleet of locomotives.
Locomotives featured:
- 60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’
- T3 563
- GWR 7049 ‘Pendennis Castle’
- S160 2253 ‘Omaha’
- LNER 2392
- Black 5 44806
- 9F 92134 / re numbered 92079
- No. 29
- 926 ‘Repton’
- No. 8 ‘Lucie’
- Black 5 45428 ‘Eric Treacy’
Dates of filming:
