Convoy! Plus Class 56s on RHTT, some Flasks and a 93 on the Tesco at Carlisle 29 September 2026

Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th September at Carisle's Citadel Station. On the Monday I wanted to catch a Rail Head Treatment Train, the first I've seen this season, and hauled by Class 56s.
Tuesday morning's highlights were a convoy of Heavy Haul Class 66s heading for Leeds, the northbound Tesco train to Coatbridge behind a Class 93 (as a test), several light engines and the Logs. Another highlight was DRS moving a pair of nuclear flasks from Kilmarnock to Sellafield after maintenance.
