Posh Charters and LNER Diversions at Carlisle as Light Fades 26 09 26

Saturday 26th September 2026 in the late afternoon and evening. I stayed at the station to see the southbound Northern Belle Historic Edinburgh at Leisure charter on its return to Manchester and the Belmond Britannic Explorer during its Lake District trip (and yes, I miss-spelled Britannic in the captions).
Plenty of LNER Azumas passing through on their diversion away from the ECML north of Newcastle and a couple of freights too. Not forgetting TransPennine Express and Northern.
