A compilation of videos and still images taken between 25th and 28th September 2026 of the last remaining HST ‘normal’ passenger operations in the UK with Scotrail.
Most of the images and video are around Edinburgh Waverley with some additional at Haymarket, over the Forth Bridge and Inverkeithing. This includes 43003 which is the oldest operational HST car left, its previous partner 43002 ‘Sir Kenneth Grange’ being in the NRM at York.
Now celebrating their 50th year of operation, Scotland is the last place to see and experience the iconic 125’s in operation before they are replaced in the near future by ex EMR class 222 units.

43037 & 43141 - Delayed 1700 Edinburgh to Aberdeen - I took this train as far as Inverkeithing to ride across the Forth Bridge on the HST with 43037 leading, which is within the film. This was the view on the right hand side of the bridge out towards the Firth of Forth.
