50 years of HST 1976 - 2026 The Journey Shrinker | 43025 'Exeter' & 43159 from Bristol to Swansea

A trip aboard the 125 groups Journey Shrinker railtour which had originated at London Paddington, bound for Swansea, and we pick up the action at Bristol Temple Meads where we board the high speed train for the onward journey to Swansea.

43025 'Exeter' in Intercity Swallow livery worked the journey as far as Bristol before reversal where we see freshly painted 43159 looking immaculate in Intercity Exec livery, before powering us out across to Wales.

Enjoy some coverage of the journey before shots of the train at Swansea, where after a stop we board and return to Bristol, stepping off and seeing the train return with 43159 leading back to London. A very enjoyable afternoon out and certainly a testament to the 125 group who lovingly restore and maintain these iconic trains, keeping the history of the Intercity 125 alive!
