Welcome to Worcester Shrub Hill for another railway action video!
In this video, we spend some time at this historic station watching a variety of passenger services operated by West Midlands Railway and Great Western Railway, with a good selection of trains arriving, departing and passing through.
The main event, however, is something rather special — Class 37s 37422 and 37419, working top and tail on 1Q23, the 06:43 Bristol Kingsland Road to Derby R.T.C. (Network Rail) working.
With a booked pause at Worcester Shrub Hill, we get an excellent opportunity to admire both locomotives and their spectacular liveries up close. Seeing 37422 and 37419 paired together on the same working was a real highlight and certainly made this visit one to remember!
There’s plenty of regular passenger action in between, making for an enjoyable mix of modern railway operations and classic Class 37 traction.
