Description
GB Railfreight Class 66 Co-Co diesel-electric locomotive number 66774 was built by Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) in 2015 at their manufacturing facility in Muncie, Indiana, USA. This heavy-haul 126-tonne mainline asset is powered by an EMD 12-710G3B-EC 12-cylinder two-stroke turbocharged diesel engine which generates 3,200 brake horsepower. Utilizing an EMD electrical transmission system driving six traction motors, the locomotive is geared for a maximum operational top speed of 75 mph and exerts a massive starting tractive effort of 413 kN (93,000 lbf). Operated by GB Railfreight, this locomotive is turned out in the company's signature corporate GBRf blue and orange livery and proudly carries the name "Sue Coles".

The locomotive is seen here in 8K 16:9 widescreen powering out of Leeds Station with a thunderous sound as the driver opens up the throttle. Hauling a massive train of 27 Hopper wagons grossing around 2,600 tonnes of stone from Arcow Quarry on a dedicated Tilcon aggregate service run by GBRf, the heavy mainline freight train is captured powering past the platforms on Monday 29/06/2026 at 19:37.
