The Year of the Veterans III (2022)

Presenting the longest train video that I have ever produced in my almost ten years of being on YouTube, which runs at a staggering time of one hour and thirteen minutes!

'The Year of the Veterans III' is the long awaited first generation diesel traction video that has become an annual tradition of mine to produce since 2020, with the year of 2022 providing possibly the most first generation traction that has been seen in one whole video.

From January to December 2022, we filmed a whole lot of classic diesel locos being seen running across various locations between Wales and England, which include test trains, railtours and freight services, with even one or two unusual movements caught on the mainline and classic heritage railway action to boot.

There are so many diesel locos featured in this hour-packed video that they cannot be listed in order, but here are the locations of where they were seen.
