The Year of the Veterans V (2024)
In comparison to 'Year of the Veterans' III & IV, which both run at over an hour in length, the fifth film in our first generation diesels annual has a longer run time of 2 hours and 22 minutes, with a lot more heritage railway footage being crammed into the movie as a result of this extended run time, making this the longest ever YouTube that we have ever produced.
The Year of the Veterans V is also a special edition film in the collection, because for this specific one, we have dedicated it to the loving memory of my dad's brother, Gordon Richard Biggs (1964-2025), who always enjoyed watching the train videos that we produced over the years. He had sadly passed away at the start of the year on January 10th, 2025, and so a dedication to him is being featured at the beginning of the video.
Overall, we hope you enjoy two hours of non-stop first generation action, with a couple of second generation locos sneaking in several times at points.
