Severn Valley Railway - Autumn Diesel Bash Gala Event - 01/10/23

After two weeks since the steam gala event in September, we made yet another return to the Severn Valley Railway to take part in the Autumn Diesel Bash Gala, which was running from September 28th to October 1st. We went up on the final day of the four day event on Sunday 1st October, 2023.

Initially, we were going to the Great Central Railway for the DMU running day event. but because we were running short of time and it's a longer drive up to Leicestershire, we decided to go to Severn Valley Railway instead as were closer to home and it doesn't take so long to get up there. We last attended the diesel gala back in the spring of May 2023, but going to this one helped give us an enjoyable day.

We filmed ten of the running diesel locos that ran the event on the Sunday. The only station that we didn't film at was Arley, but that didn't bother us as we have filmed there before on the last diesel gala back in May.
