Greenham Paddock Miniature Railway - Episode 41 of Miniature Railway Britain
We start at the infamous Greenham Common where we have a look at the old RAF Greenham Common control tower and a quick look at the site's not so pleasant past, before walking across what is now rather pleasant pastureland grazed by cows.
In Greenham Village we find the newly opened Greenham Paddock Miniature Railway in the grounds of the parish church. We then enjoy a steam hauled trip on the main line before linesiding and a trip on the short branch line. As the railway is in the grounds of the parish church we have a look inside St Mary's Church before walking down to Newbury Racecourse Railway Station where we catch a C2C Class 387 on hire to Great Western Railway to Newbury. In Newbury we have a quick look at the town centre and finish on the Kennet & Avon Canal.
