A pair of Colas class 67’s and then a pair of class 43’s (Rail Adventure) on Gamston Bank, ECML.
00:00 Colas class 67’s 67027 and 67023 ran as the 0Z31 Pontefract Monkhill to Doncaster, but carried on through to Newark whilst the 0Z30 did not run.
00:54 Running 8 minutes early the 0Y42 Welwyn Garden City to the National Railway Museum at York formed of Rail Adventure class 43 power cars 43468 and 43484. The ensemble left Welwyn with the wrong reporting number of 0Y24, but by Huntingdon had changed to 0Y42.
Both trains ran within 10 minutes of each other saving me waiting around on a hot afternoon.
