60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ Hauling The Fox & Edwards York & Scarborough Charter - 14/10/2026

Another busy day at York, with 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ heading back to Scarborough on another Fox & Edwards Charter service.
37240 is first seen pulling into Platform 6 with the first part of the journey from Coleshill Parkway, before reversing to Holgate so that ‘Flying Scotsman’ could take over.
It once again was great to see it on Platform 5, but it was quite hard to get shots of it as the platforms were rammed.

I have also included a clip of 37025 ‘Inverness TMD powering through the station which I filmed whilst waiting for my train to Scarborough, which was on a light engine move from Bo’ness to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
When I arrived at Scarborough, I was caught off guard when Flying Scotsman & 37240 arrived at the station half an hour earlier than planned. It was again quite hard to get any decent pictures on the station with the amount of people there, and so I decided to get a shot of it leaving from a road overlooking the station, and was very happy with how it turned out.
