Today, we ventured to the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway to enjoy a diesel running day event that was being held with privately-owned 37029 (D6729) doing the honors of running three round trips on the PBR, following repairs after its unfortunate break down back in April last month.

Not a whole lot to say about this video, except to mention that 31203 will be leaving the Blaenavon Railway in less than a few weeks time, as it has been aquired by McLaren Rail, along with 37216, following the recent passing of their original private owner, Les Emery.

While the Class 31 will be leaving the railway, 37216 will remain on the PBR as part of an agreement betwewen the railway and McLaren Rail.
