Description
A very wet & windy rush hour visit to the very charming station of Whittlesea on the Hereward Line where we see services from East Midlands Railway, Cross Country, Greater Anglia and freight from GBRF and Freightliner.

One great point of note is that the Level Crossing here is manually operated.

The station name is that of the former spelling of the town that it serves, this was a decision made by the local council.

The only original part of the station remaining are the two staggered platforms, all the station buildings have long since gone. But this does not take away the charm of the area.

My next rush hour film will be from Cambridge on the West Anglia Mainline.
