Today saw a small loco-haulage day in the South Wales area, with the main highlight being 37419 running on the Bangor C.S to Cardiff Canton Taff Vale Sidings test train along the Welsh Marches mainline in the early hours of Thursday 7th May, 2026.

This short little video features 1x Class 37, 2x Class 67s and 3x Class 66s working on their respective train workings, including the One Wales Express, the Machen Quarry freight trains, the Wentloog to Southampton freightliner, and the Cardiff Canton to Cardiff Canton ultrasonic test train set.

Also featured are the regular TFW, GWR and Cross Country passenger units and Hitachi bullet trains that appeared during the morning.
