Yesterday afternoon, I ventured out to Newport (South Wales) to further test out the AGFAPHOTO 2.7K video camera and the results were... less than spectacular. Forgive the rather crackly sound quality of the filmed video footage that is experienced throughout the 10 minute video.

Anyway, a full day of filming in Newport for five hours gave me a really good variety of loco-hauled trains, featuring Class 66s, Class 67s, a Class 37 and the NMT HST test train set.

The two main highlights for me were 37800 on a scrap move of Ex-Southeastern Class 466 units, and a Class 66 steel freight train that had six old-timely flatbed trucks mixed in with the modern ones.

Because I feel unhappy with the quality that the camera produced, along with the sound generated from it, from the next video onwards, all filmed footage will be done using the iPhone until then.
