47749 'City of Truro' takes 57306 'Branch Line Society' to Leicester, 57305 + 57303 RHTT & GWR 175s
We begin on 1st October with 175110 leading 175103 on the 5V84 Wolverton Centre Sidings - Laira T & R.S.M.D. through Taunton, the first such examples wearing the GWR green livery.
Later on during the month, on Tuesday 20th October GBRF 47749 'City of Truro' paid a visit to Fairwater Yard, tasked with collecting 57306 'Branch Line Society' to return it to Leicester Loco Inspection Point. On a grim, wet and miserable afternoon the 47 is seen arriving from Wembley light engine, before shunting round and moving the 57 around the yard, before 57303 + 57305 which had recently arrived on the RHTT moved up to assist with the complex shunt move and get 57306 pushed out for the 47 to collect it.
We finish with shots of the 47/57 combo moving out of Fairwater and lastly leaving 40 Steps heading through Taunton bound for Leicester.
