Festival of Tractors - Class 37s in Derby - 17th & 18th July, 2023

During our two-night stay in the West Midlands, we had the real treat of seeing five Class 37s running in and out of Derby railway station on three separate workings, with plenty of thrash and classic sounds to be heard.
On Monday 17th July, we had the greatest treat of having 4 Class 37s running in the Derby station area, with 37254 & 37612 running double headed together from Derby RTC to Nottingham Eastcroft. It was filmed from Platform 2 as we were waiting for 50007 'Hercules' at the time, but the zoom quality on the video camera helped us greatly.
Later that day, 37175 & 37607 top and tail a Network Rail test train from Derby RTC to Ferme Park Reception, running late before leaving the station with epic thrashing power.
Finally today, on Tuesday 18th July, 37418 was seen with 975025 Inspection Saloon 'Caroline' on a run from Derby RTC to Bristol Temple Meads, where it was heading to the West Country to run a Private Charter from Bristol to Exeter, and then rundown to Plymouth on the following day.
There will be a long movie showcasing the many locos and working that we have filmed over the two days in the Midlands.
