Description
With the five mile restrictions finally lifted on Monday, we took a visit to our favourite mainline spot, Magor, on Wednesday 8th July, 2020. This was our first time coming back to Magor since our last visit in September 2019, and the small variety of trains that we filmed there was a very colourful one, all seen within this eight minute movie.

Ranging from the modern Class 800 Hitachi bullet trains to the much older Class 56 diesel locos, the day provided us a great variety of trains, with highlights including:

5x Freight Trains (including the tankers)
3x Colas Class 56s
2x GWR 125 HST Castle Class Sets
1x Colas Track Machine (DR 73905)
1x Network Rail NMT HST on test from Swansea to Derby

Locos Featured
56078, 56087, 56090, 60054, 66590, 66555, 66246 & 66731

The biggest highlight of the day was the appearance of GBRf 66731 'Captain Tom Moore' in Thank You NHS livery. It was the first time we've seen this loco come into South Wales, and she was a splendid sight to see!

Filmed on Wednesday 8th July, 2020.
