Trains at Newport (South Wales) - Wednesday 5th April, 2017

Description
A small variety of trains were seen between Gaer Junction and Newport railway station today, on Wednesday 5th April, 2017.
Today, some passenger trains were filmed at Gaer Junction tunnels, inclusing a CrossCountry 170, Arriva Trains Wales 175 & 150 units, and a GWR 125 HST.
At Newport, a DBS 60 passes through with a slow empty steel train on the DRL, before a DBS 66 passes on the URL with a loaded steel train, while a GWR 158 / 153 set leaves Platform Two in the background.
A Footex Special from London Euston to Port Talbort Parkway then trundeled through Platform One, with the Royal liveried DBS 67s (67005 & 67006) top and tailing the train. Later, a second DBS 60 passes through Platform Two, with a train of tankers.
Finally, at Pontypool & New Inn, the ATW DVT set departs from the station, on its Cardiff to Holyhead run, with DBS 67010 running loco first, with the drive giving a quick toot to the camera.
All these trains were filmed by Scott Coombes.
