Some of the most interesting train movements in South Yorkshire recently must be the brand new Picadilly Line tube stock from the factory in Goole.
Not only does it bering tube trains along the line, but the diesel locomotives pulling them are interesting.
In these two units filmed at Mexborough we see trains with class 47 locomotives (15th October 2026) and class 57 locomotives (5th August 2026).
The two wagons inside each diesel are weighted to provide brake assistance.
Camera used - Panasonic HC-X1200.
