Class 40s on the Devonian Doubler - Pontypool - 30/10/21

Description
The Devonian Double railtour charter made a scheduled stop at Pontypool & New Inn, this morning, to allow passengers on board to take photographs of the two Class 40s leading the charter, which was heading from Preston to Plymouth. Inter-City 47828 was on the back of the train.

It really felt like a classic time warp scene from the 1980s, when passengers would step onto the station during a charter train and take pictures of the locos, so I was really happy that the Class 40s (40013 & 40145) had stopped at the station today.

Colas Rail 66848 & 66846 were both seen on the Swindon Transfer to Swindon Transfer RHTT Duty just a couple of minutes before the railtour arrived at the station.
