2x Class 67 DVT Sets & 37884 on EMU Scrap Move - Cwmbran - 13/02/23

An eventful morning at Cwmbran railway station, on Monday 13th February, 2023.

DBC 67010 is seen on the back end of the black-painted DVT One Wales Express set as it heads from Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central.

Then, a few minutes later, a second One Wales Express DVT set, this time the red and white variant, passes straight through Cwmbran without stopping on a fast-moving service from Holyhead to Cardiff Central. The number for the Class 67 on this set is currently unknown.

Finally, as TFW 150257 arrives at Cwmbran on a passenger run from Cardiff to Holyhead, Rail Operations Group 37884 rockets straight through with an Ex-Merseyside EMU unit, 508123, being sent from Coton Hill T.C to Newport Docks (Simsgroup) for scrapping. 150257 leaves shortly after the scrap move passes through.

The Class 37 would then later return light engine to Derby, via Gloucester.
