In the early hours of the morning, two trains are seen stopping in Cwmbran. First, WCRC Class 57s (57314 & 57601) stop in Cwmbran on a Statesman Rail charter named 'The Dartmouth Regatta Statesman', heading from Wolverhampton to Kingswear.

As the railtour heads out on its journey, Arriva Trains Wales 175001 arrives into Cwmbran on a service train from Milford Haven to Manchester Piccadilly. The 175 unit has unbranded livery on it, as the company is to end in October 2018.
