Description
A pair of double-headed GBRf Class 73s (73963 & 73961) are seen arriving into Newport (South Wales), on day one of a four day railtour charity charter named 'Out of the Ordinary'. The four day railtour was being operated by GB Railfreight.

The Class 73s made a quick stop in Platform Two, before powering out of the station, heading from London Victoria to Port Talbot Sig 3462.

The tour was originally planned to travel down to the Cardiff Celsa Steelworks, where a Class 08 Shunter would then give the charter a bit of a run into the yards. However, a last minute change was made before the start of the charity charter, so the tour then went up as far as Bridgend instead.

The tour then returned to London Paddington, taking the route via Chepstow and Gloucester. Day 2 of the charity charter will begin on Friday 21st September, 2018.

Filmed by Thomas Coombes, on Thursday 20th September, 2018.
