After waiting for the steam service to travel back up the line, 'The Dean Forest Foray' is now seen leaving Lydney Junction, where the Hastings DEMU Thumper Unit would head into Norchard Low Level to have its water tanks refilled ready or the journey home.

Later, the Thumper would travel to Parkend, before returning to Lydney Junction, and eventually return onto the mainline for the journey back to Hastings.
