Description
In the early morning of 6am, two trains pass through Pontypool & New Inn railway station. First, a Great Western Railway stock move heads from St. Philips Marsh H.S.T.D to Hereford, with a green-painted HST on the front of the blue carriage stock.

Then, a DRS Class 68 (68004 'Gareth') passes through with a Pathfinders Railtour, which is 'The Settle & Carlisle Statesman', heading from Newport to Appleby. The Class 68 would take the train up as far as Crewe, where DRS Class 88s would then take over the train from there.
