Description
A Class 40 makes a very rare appearance in the Welsh Marches, which is a sight that we couldn't possibly pass up on.

Running on a Route Learning duty from Crewe H.S to Bristol Temple Meads, LSL 40013 'Adania' (D213) travels through Llantarnam, and eventually back through Magor later on, with 37667 (D6851) tagging along for the ride, providing additional power for dragging the Class 40 from Newport (South Wales) to Bristol, and eventually from Newport to Crewe H.S.

Also in the picture was the regular sight of the four carriage 'Castle Class' 125 HST set, heading from Cardiff Central to Taunton, and eventually, Europhoenix 37884 was seen dragging an Ex-EMU unit from Ely Mlf Papworth Sidings to Newport Docks (Simsgroup) for scrapping.

Filmed at Llantarnam and Magor, on Monday 26th April, 2021.
