Another week, another Northern Belle railtour passes through the Welsh Marches, this time with 47813 and 47812 top and tailing the tour from Liverpool Lime Street to Cardiff Central.

One of the 47s have been repainted in a fresh new coat of West Coast Railways paint, and it looks even smarter.

Construction of the upcoming park and ride system continues at Pontypool & New Inn, with a digger seen on the site where the trees used to be.
