A brief change in scenery today, as we briefly visited the town of Dorchester, in Somerset. A third rail powered South Western Railway Class 444 unit, 444022, is seen making a stop at Dorchester South at 13:30pm on a passenger run that was initially running from Weymouth to London Waterloo.

However, the journey would end up terminating as far as Bournemouth for unspecified reasons. This was the first tine that we have filmed anything relating to third rail trains since our railtour trip to Canterbury way back in June 2013.
