NOSTALGIA FEST: Steam Trains at Ramsgate & Folkestone in 1959

Channel: V I Media
Player
Description
We turn back the clock to 1959 when Britain was a very different place. We visit Ramsgate railway station to see Southern region steam locos in a action, we then climb on-board an inter-regional train heading for Kent and then at Folkestone Harbour we see the ships and finish with a remarkable triple-headed boat train which is also being banked by R class Southern locos. A wonderful look back at life in the 1950s
