ROG Class 37s moving Ex-TFW Class 175 Unit - Pontypool - 07/03/24

Description
The Welsh Marches mainline featured three train workings, with two of them being loco-haulage, one mainline passenger and the other a stock movement. All of these were filmed at Pontypool & New Inn, with a brand new microphone attachment to help reduce the sound of the wind.

DBC 67025 with 82216 is seen passing through the station on passenger service heading from Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central.

TFW 197118 is then seen heading in the opposite direction on a passenger service from Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly.

ROG Class 37s, 37800 & 37608, are then seen top and tailing an Ex-TFW Class 175 unit (175109) from Barton Under Needwood RSMD to Landore TMD. The 175s were once a common, regular sight to see on the Welsh Marches, but they have since been displaced by the more modern Class 197 units.
