Class 37 on Hereford to Swindon RHTT - Pontypool - 21/10/22

Description
The early morning One Wales Express service passes straight through Pontypool & New Inn station non-stop heading from Holyhead to Cardiff Central, with 67029 on the back of the set. I managed to catch this quickly from the fence while walking towards the station.

Next, a very unusual combination of locomotives appeared on the Hereford to Swindon Transfer RHTT leaf buster duty, which featured West Coast 37668 heading the train, while Colas Rail 66850 was on the back of the train. As they glide through the station, a TFW Class 150 set can be seen entering the station heading the other way.

A Class 37 on an RHTT duty is a very rare sight to see in South Wales, and it was a very nice surprise to see one, too, so it was definitely well worth getting out in the rain for it.
