Description
A rare sight of a small loco convoy passing through Wales, on the Welsh Marches mainline, heading from Bury East Lancs Railway to Lydney Up Goods Loop. The small convoy consists of a Class 57 (57315) a Class 31 (31422) and a Class 73 (73001).

The WCRC Class 57 was used to take both 31466 & 73001 back to the Dean Forest Railway, as the two locos had been on loan to the East Lancashire Railway for quite some time. It certainly is very rare to see a Class 73 and an Ex-EWS Class 31 on the mainline nowadays.
