DFR: Triple Header Train - Lydney - 17/09/17

A triple header train is seen passing the old St. Mary's Church Station on the Dean Forest Railway, during the Diesel Gala Weekend, which ran on the 15th, 16th & 17th September, 2017.

These three locos made one heck of a first-generation sound as they passed the old station.

The triple header train consisted of DFR's Class 14 (D9521), Severn Valley Railway's Class 20 (D8059), which was one of the two gala guests at the event, and one of the two Class 20s we had seen previously at the West Somerset Railway Diesel Gala in June, and DFR's Class 31 (31466), which had just recently returned from East Lancashire Railway with DFR's Class 73 (73003) back in August.
