Two generations of trains passing through Magor, on Sunday 14th July, 2019.

The modern GWR Class 800 Hitachi high speed bullet train is seen heading towards the Severn Tunnel way, with a passenger service from Cardiff Central to London Paddington, before the appearance of classic steam power, in the form of LNER Peppercorn Class A1 60163 'Tornado', appears a few seconds later, on Pathfinders 'The Pembroke Coast Express' heading from Bristol Temple Meads to Tenby.

'Tornado' steams under the modern masts and wires that surround the footbridges at Magor, but you can still get some great video and photo vantage points in between the masts and wires on this particular footbridge.
