LSL Private Charter Tour - Port Talbot Parkway & Magor - 03/04/21

After the failure of Black 5 45321 'Sherwood Forrester' at Llandeilo on the Heart of Wales line just yesterday afternoon, the green Class 20 (20107) that accompanied 45321 on the journey, is seen passing through Port Talbot Parkway, taking the Locomotive Services Private Charter railtour in the Black 5's place, heading from Carmarthen to Newport (South Wales), where two Class 37s (37667 & 37688) would take over the train for the run to Bristol Temple Meads.

Then, after driving from Port Talbot to Magor by car, 37667 & 37688 were then filmed passing through Magor, taking the relief line and heading for Bristol Temple Meads. The private charter will be heading from Bristol to Penzance tomorrow with these Class 37s taking the train there.

It's very rare to see a Class 20 working on a private charter in South Wales, and it's a very nice treat to see during the Easter Weekend.
