A freight train derailment in Oxley resulted in 'The Britannic Explorer' being diverted along the Welsh Marches mainline through Pontypool & New Inn, with 66748 & 66714 top and tailing the consist from Shrewsbury to Kingham, running via Hereford and Severn Tunnel Junction.

Definitely one of the most unexpected surprises to find on the South Wales mainline.
