Today in the Welsh Marches, Locomotive Services 40013 (D213) 'Andania' travels light engine through Pontypool, heading from Crewe to Bristol West Junction after pulling the 'Welsh Marches Whistler' from Preston to Crewe, where BR-Standard 70000 'Britannia' would take over for the run to Bristol Temple Meads.

The Class 40 will be taking the charter train from Bristol to Preston in the evening part of the day.
